Sampling campaign of LIFE Index-Air starts at Lisbon homes
LIFE Index-Air aims to understand the integrated exposure of citizens at the different micro-environments where they spent a whole day. For that, LIFE Index-Air team already started the sampling campaign at Lisbon city (Portugal) where air quality is being monitoring at indoor and outdoor environments of households and schools. In this first stage, the parish of Parque of Nações (Lisbon, Portugal) was chosen and other parishes of Lisbon will also have their air quality assessed in the following months.
Among the several air pollutants, the main goal of LIFE Index-Air is to assess population exposure to particulate matter levels.
